Frequently Asked Questions
How do I request a ride?
You can request a ride through our Rider Request Page or by filling out the contact form above.
My confirmation email isn't sending...Sometimes our mail server malfunctions and it can take a while for the email to send. If you still do not receive the email after 6 hours, please contact us and we can manually activate your account.
How can I sign up to drive? To sign up to drive, visit our driver page. Once you select a ride, you will be prompted to choose a time for the driver screening call. Once your call is complete, your driver dashboard will be activated. If there is no upcoming availability for the driver screening call, please contact us through the form above.
Why do I have to do the driver screening call? The driver screening call serves as a way to verify you as a driver. To ensure riders feel safe, we need to make sure that all drivers are students at UIUC and have a valid driver's license. The only way to do reliably that (besides meeting in person) is over a Zoom driver's screening call.
Will you ever raise prices? Not in the foreseeable future, no. As long as we are able to keep paying drivers sufficiently while making enough profit to support the platform, we will do our best to keep prices as low as possible.
How do I know this is not a scam? We've already transported 40+ students between Chicago and Champaign. We're also a registered business in the State of Illinois. If you're still unsure, you can check us out on Instagram.
Why don't I see any rides available? We list rides 7-10 days before a major break. If you don't see rides, check back later.
How do I know this is safe?Safety is our top priority. However, as with any rideshare platform, we recognize that there are inherent risks to using our platform. You can learn more about what we are doing to keep riders safe on our safety page.
